This is one of the UNESCO-protected sites in the area around Tanumshede. Here's a link. Aspeberget has a lot of very expressive and interesting pieces of rock art. Some have been covered with soil, to protect them from weathering, but you won't be disappoined with the ones that are left to watch....

On one of the rocks, there are carvings that are not painted....

There is blue colour on some of the rocks, and I guess that it is remains after some kind of a cleanser that is careful to the carvings.... I noticed that there is no lichen on those rocks.
