Gerum

Right after this rock carving-site was found, it was called "the rune rock", which is not quite a proper name for it, since runic inscriptions are about 2000 years younger. There is one carving here, that you won't see anywhere else : "the swing" - also called "the Maypole". In addition there are ships, people and animals. These petroglyphs are not filled in with paint, but they are still visible.
When you visit the petroglyphs at Lövåsen, you just continue that path, and within 10 minutes you'll arrive here at Gerum.
