Utby

At Utby, west of Uddevalla, there are some deep cupmarks on the rocks and also some ships. I came to this site to get a photo of a runic inscription that is supposed to be carved on these rocks. There was no sign of it, and no information-sign either.

It was getting dark when I got there, and it wasn't the easiest thing to get good photos of the petroglyphs. I once came back in full daylight, and then was almost impossible to see the ships, since they are not very deeply carved and not filled in with paint.
