The Covid-19 situation still prevents me from getting new photos to this site. Instead I have re-used material that are already on this site, and sorted them differently.

Now I have looked for different kinds of amulets, and connected those pages with the bottom previous/next line. There are probably many more existing, than you can find on this site. These amulets are quite small, and the are full of runes. In many cases the runes are combined and connected with each other, to save space and or to make it harder for other than the owner to read.

Some of the amulets were made of this pieces of lead, that were folded together and kept in pockets and held in the hand, when the owner "needed strength" (-my guess). They could also be made of copper, bronze, or even wood, like the tiny amulet that was found in Burgund stave church.

I made a special selection for the crosses, even though they only differ in form. They have roughly the same size, the same kind of inscriptions and purpose as the other amulets.
