Still no "rune stone safari" to Uppland and Sörmland in Sweden this year, and that is of course due to the Covid-19 situation. Instead I have taken a closer look at the runic inscriptions that are already on this site, and sorted them in a different way. My Russian friend Ogneslav, whom I often do these photo-trips with, suggested that I'd focus on rune-master Fot this time, and that's a very good idea.
Rune-master Fot seems to have been more modest than rune-master Œpir, 'cause unlike Œpir, he rarely signed his work. Every rune-master had details in their carvings, that makes it possible to identify who made them. Fot made five rune stones for Jarlabanke who proclaimed himself as the owner of all Täby, and also the three rune stones at Snottsta, for instance. I took a quick look at a map, and saw that the rune stones are situated roughly within 25 km in every direction from Sigtuna, so that's where Fot could have had his base. That's my guess - not a fact !
As usual you can either pick the ones in the left frame, or you can use the previous/next. There are two rows of previous/next, and the upper one will bring you to the next rune stone in numeric order, while the bottom one will bring you to one of a similar topic - in this case another Fot-stone.
Explore and enjoy.
