Ingibjôrg had the rock-slab cut and the bridge made in memory of Holmsteinn, her husbandman and in memory of Þorsteinn, her son. Þorsteinn's, her son's.

These stones lay about 15 metres apart, next to the crossing of a stream. There's a modern bridge there now - perhaps the 5th generation of bridges, since the one mentioned on the rocks.
