Andvéttr and Kárr and <kiti> and Blesi and Djarfr raised this stone in memory of Gunnleifr, their father, who was killed in the east with Ingvarr. May God help their spirits. Alríkr(?), I carved the runes. He could steer a cargo-ship well.
This is one of the so called Ingvar-stones. Several rune stones ( like U Fv1992;157 for instance ) were raised over men that were killed on that expedition. This stones is standing near the old "highway", where it could be seen by a lot of people that were passing by....
