Is that a picture of a horsefight, like on this picture stone from the island of Gotland ?

Hmm.... I recognize that cresent on the horses heads.... They also appear on almost all bracteates that I have pictures of ! Most clearly on this one. More of them here....

I took this photo at the Museum of National Antiquities in Stockholm many years ago. I haven't seen it there for a long time. It may be stored away somewhere. There's a picture on the back of the stone also, but I can't find that photo right now. Later perhaps....
