Right.... this was once a rune stone, but some time in the centuries after Balle carved it, someone thought it had the perfect thickness for a millstone. It just needed to be rounded, and to have a hole drilled onto its midpoint. Most of the text was recorded when the rune stone was still intact, but only slightly damaged.
