Ingivaldr and Sveinn had this stone carved in memory of Hákon, their father.
A beautiful carving on a boulder. I wonder how it was done, 'cause first of all it's situated quite high up there, and secondly this boulder is situated close to the edge of a steep rock. The photo was taken from a distance of at least 10 meters, down below. The carver must have built some kind of scaffolding from fallen trees, that were leaning towards the boulder. That's the only way ! For a close-up : point at the photo.
