There are stilll some 60 megalithic monuments left here at Carrowmore - many others got destroyed through quarrying..... that's a pity, since this is one of the oldest and largest Stone Age cemetaries in Europe. The oldest graves are from around 3500 BC. You'll find it a few kilometres south-west of Sligo in Ireland.
