Yes, it sure is grand, this standing stone.... or former standing stone. Now it's broken in four pieces. It used to be 20 metres tall and weigh around 350 tons !

Was this part of a huge Stone Age astronomical observotory ?
It must have been visible from the stone rows of Carnac....
