Situated in the southern part of Shetland mainland. This place have been inhabited for about 3500 years ! One hut dates from around 2000 BC, then there are six late Bronze Age dwellings.... and so on.... wheelhouses and a Norse farmstead and hall.... early medieval structures and finally the latest building, that dates from the 16th century.... ( the custodians 20th century hut is not counted.... )
