All the carvings on this rock were made by the same person. It's a battle scene. Riders with spears and shields in their hands. The rectangular shape of the shields indicate that the carvings are among the latest ones in the Tanum area - from around 300 BC. Even so, they are among the oldest depictions of riders carrying shields.... This carving is only about 100 metres from the Litsleby-site....
