Skara cathedral

To the left is a stone with a cross mounted on a stick, and the cross has a lot of buds growing from it. "Benedictus electus" it is carved on it, and thus it was made for Bengt the Good, who was one of the bishops in Skara. He died around 1190. Point at the picture to see close-ups + a photo of the cathedral, with ruins of another church in front of it.
Mounted in the same wall are four panels made by the Skara-master, whose name is unknown. He also made the "pictures" for Forshem church. Unfortunatly much of one of the panels (point at the picture) has been hacked away.
