Steinn, Fastulfr (and) Herjulfr raised this stone in memory of Gelfr, their father, and in memory of Ulfviðr, Gelfr's brother. Holmlaug's able sons made the monument.
Some rune stones I remember better than other ones, and this one due to the lousy weather. The rain was pouring down, and even though I wore rubber boots, goretex-jacket and trousers I got very wet. I took some photos with my camera, but also a couple with my cellphone. I was more happy with the latter ones. I posted this one on Instagram, as you may see because of the frame. In the background Stora Sundby castle is visible.
