§A Véfastr, Folkaðr, Guðvarr(?) had the stone raised in memory of their father Holmfastr, (and in memory of) Arnfastr.
§B Both father and son were burned, and Balli (and) Freysteinn, of Lífsteinn's retinue, carved.

What is so special about this rune stone, is the depiction of Thor catching the Midgårdserpent. You can see him with the hammer in one hand, and a fishing pole with the head of an ox as a bait in the other hand. The Midgårdserpent was caught, Thor got his foot through the floor of the boat as he tried to haul the serpent onboard, but then the giant that Thor had hired the boat from, cut the fishline, 'cause he was afraid that the boat would go down and that they would drown.
