Berga

Gunnvaldr had this stone raised in memory of Geirfastr, his son, a good valiant man. And (he) had travelled to England. May God help his soul.

Vs 18
Gunnvaldr had them raised - one in memory of his son, and one in memory of his stepson. The same rune-master made both stones. They are not standing on their original sites, but in Skultuna.

Gunnvaldr had this stone raised in memory of Ormr, his stepson, a good valiant man. And (he) travelled to the east with Ingvarr. May God help his soul.

Vs 19
Only about half of this rune stone remains, but if you compare the runes that remain on the serpent's head, they are identical to the upper rune stone. Half the word iftir remains on this rune stone, and at the same place on the upper one you'll see the full word. Therefore it's very likely that the missing text is identical to Vs 18.

This is one of several rune stones that were raised as memorials after the disastrous trip to "Serkland" with Ingvar the Far-Travelled. Read more about it here.
