Arbor Low

This stone circle with its surrounding henge, dates from Stone Age, so it's about 5000 years old. All the stones are lying flat on the ground. It's beautifully placed on the top of a hill in Peak District, with view in all directions.
The earth-works around the circle are very impressive, and the limestone that the circle consist of is much weathered.
A few hundred meters away is the Gib Hill barrow, that also date from the Stone Age.
