Svingerudsteinen

Idibera

NlæR 56
This rune stone was found when they were excavating an Iron Age grave in Svingerud. It's the oldest rune stone in the world, and it's about 2000 years old. The runes at the bottom of the stone may be a woman's name : Idibera. Above that there are other runes scribbled down, and further up to the right may be the three first runes in the futhark. Here's a link that will give you more information. Below are close-ups of the inscriptions.
This is the Idibera-inscription, and if you point at the picture you'll see the scribble + the futh-inscription.
They also found another much smaller stone in the grave, and it also contain some runes.
