About 17 kilometres north of Alingsås is this ruin of a 16th century castle situated. It was ravaged by fire 1634, 1734 and 1834 - once every century, but somehow not on 1934.........

Moving a little bit further to the right, we´ll see what´s left of the towers - not much....... Anyway, it´s beautifully situated by the lake Anten. If you want to, you can go on a trip with a steam train from Gräfsnäs to Anten, 11 kilometres away. Or swim in the lake.
