Lidköping, town hall

This hunting-lodge ( or little castle ) in baroque-style, was originally placed on Kållandsö, but was taken apart and moved here in 1672, when Magnus Gabriel de la Gardie founded the 'new town' of Lidköping on the western side of river Lidan. The 'old town', on the eastern side of the river, had existed since the end of the middle ages.
